Visit Weslea's Wall of Awareness today. This page honors children, the efforts to protect children against the dangers of window covering cords, and the movement to inform more people about those dangers.

Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents says number of deaths related to blind cords is far too high.

"Josh enjoyed waving at people through the window," said his mother.

Joshua Wakeham, nearly two years old, became entangled as he looked out of his bedroom window in the city.

Ministers called the death rate appalling and said they were working hard with the industry for change.
